Comparing the Flavors: Correlating the Text

By Charles R. Swindoll

2 Peter 1:16–21; 3:15–18

God has revealed His Word in the Book of God, called in our language, the Bible. Because of His magnificent revelation, when He gave His Word and inspiration as He oversaw the recording of it, He also takes great delight in illuminating our minds with an understanding of it.

We've learned the value of observation, seeing what God has written, and interpretation, understanding what a given passage means. In this message, we will explore correlation, the idea of comparing verses with other verses in order to gain a balanced and reasonable understanding of God's truth.
