1 Kings 18:1–40

“Prove it to me!” Those have become household words in our skeptical society. The time-honored virtues of trust and confidence are seldom found today. This is not only true between two people; it is also true between humanity and God. For centuries, men and women have been saying that if God expects them to believe in Him, He must prove that He is, in fact, God. This passage from the book of 1 Kings offers a splendid example of proof that God is real and worthy of our absolute trust.
