Titus 1:5–9

Few things are more important for a local church than having the right people in leadership. It’s safe to say that most, if not all, of us have been in churches that lacked qualified leaders. And so we are not surprised that Paul addressed the subject of competent leadership immediately. It was of utmost importance that Titus selected the very best men to oversee the churches on Crete. But Paul’s inspired list of qualifications was not only for Titus; it’s still valid for us today.
