Jesus paid the penalty for our sin on the cross, commissioned His followers to make disciples of all people, and will one day transform the world and establish His kingdom. When He comes for the church, those who died as believers in Jesus Christ will rise from the dead, believers who are alive will be transformed, and all Christians will ascend to meet Him in the sky. Then, at God’s appointed time, Jesus will come a second time to earth and establish His kingdom. His return could occur at any moment. Are you prepared to meet Him face to face?
