In season seven of Paws & Tales, The Club hears the story of Israel’s King Saul. When Israel asks God for a king, the Prophet Samuel anoints Saul. King Saul starts off following God, but his reliance on the Lord is put to the test when enemies start closing in.
Back in Wildwood, the kids learn about searching for the truth, and Paw Paw Chuck and Theo address troubles brewing in Shadow Valley.

- The Story of Saul, Part 1 - “We want a king like the other nations!” The nation of Israel turns its back on God’s leadership and calls for a king to be chosen from among them. But following God’s direction, the prophet Samuel makes an unlikely choice: a man whose last job was rounding up wild donkeys!
- The Story of Saul, Part 2 - A reluctant king rises to the challenge of leading a nation. King Saul’s humility and obedience brings his people back to worshipping God. But as the Philistine armies prepare to attack, the king’s faith is put to the ultimate test.
- The Story of Saul, Part 3 - “A storm of destruction is coming—and King Saul doesn’t see it.” When Saul hears the words of his advisors more loudly than the direction of the Lord, his distraction threatens to destroy an entire nation.
- The Story of Saul, Part 4 - King Saul’s victories on the battlefield lead his nation to prosperity, but when he refuses to obey Samuel’s instruction, Saul pays a great price. God directs Samuel to select for Israel a new king—a man after God’s own heart.

In the cylinder story, Jesus pursues Peter specifically to offer him forgiveness and grace. Peter learns that he needs to receive that forgiveness so their relationship can be healed. Depending on Jesus is the smartest thing we can do.
- Not What I Heard - Rumors are flying about Wildwood until the Wildwood Gazette is formed by Miss Harbor. Everyone in her classroom becomes a reporter searching for the truth wherever it may be found!
- The Warriors - There are dark forces high up in Wild Mountain that are looking for “The One”. Paw Paw Chuck tells Theo, C.J.'s dad, more about Shadow Valley and how they will need to prepare the club for what’s coming.
